The Betrayer Review, A Beautiful but Confusing World | For the Love of Gaming

Added: 03.04.2014 23:15 | 34 views | 0 comments

Cory Shultz from For the Love of Gaming writes: I am so torn on The Betrayer because it is difficult to score a game that just didnt fit the type of game I would enjoy. I went into The Betrayer thinking it was one game, but found out quickly that it wasnt quite what I expected. I feel as if marketing this game as from the team that brought you F.E.A.R. is going to rub people the wrong way when they start playing. While I obviously didnt think I was going to be playing a new version of F.E.A.R., I felt like I was going to be getting story that went much deeper than The Betrayer goes.

Assassin's Creed III:The Tyranny of King Washington - The Betrayal Review - The Digital Fix

Added: 04.04.2013 10:18 | 49 views | 0 comments

As you play Assassins Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington - Episode 2, the second of three episodes in this reality-bending, timeline altering, canon narrative you begin to see what its really all about. Theres very little story this time out - this will surely come in the final episode in a flurry given all the questions still left to answer - but an awful lot of game. Its really a greatest hits in terms of missions with each different from the last and encompassing all the different things youll have done in the main game, from eavesdropping to playing a board game, assassinating without arousing suspicion to fending off wolf attacks, along with a number of new things and the opportunity to use the skills you picked up in episode one and those you acquire here.
